Eternocell uses stable vitamin C derivatives — sodium ascorbyl phosphate and magnesium ascorbyl phosphate — which hold up better against light and oxygen and convert to active vitamin C on the skin. In Age Shield, vitamin C sits in a liposome of its own, apart from retinol, so the two can share one formula without interfering.
